Dr.Guzman was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Science at the University of Puerto Rico, Ponce campus where she graduated Magna cum laude. She continued her studies in medicine at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico where she also graduated Magna Cum Laude. She completed her residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where she served as outpatient Chief Resident during her final year. She has been passionate about the field of psychiatry and mental health since her High School years, joining the American Psychiatric Association during her first year of medical school. Dr.Guzman’s philosophy of care is to establish a lasting relationship with her patients by careful listening to their concerns and needs in order to provide them with empowering resources for their well-being. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing video games and traveling.

Issues include: Mood Disorders (Depression, Bipolar Disorder), ADHD, OCD, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD and Psychosis
