Dr. Nazli Emadi joined Psych Associates of Maryland in 2020 after finishing her residency in psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Emadi has been working in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience and psychiatry for over 14 years. She has done extensive research on brain function during her PhD in cognitive neuroscience, her first postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in California and her second postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University/Institute of Living in Connecticut. She enjoys applying her knowledge of the human brain to solve neuropsychiatric questions in clinical practice of psychiatry.Dr. Emadi is experienced in treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders and works with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, nurses and social workers to provide the best care to her patients.
Dr. Emadi manages a variety of psychiatric disorders including but not limited to Psychosis, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and Adjustment Disorder.
