Dr. Nazli Emadi joined Psych Associates of Maryland in 2020 after several years of clinical work and research in psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Emadi is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Emadi has been working in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience and psychiatry since 2005. She has done extensive research on brain function during her PhD in cognitive neuroscience and her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in California. She enjoys applying her knowledge of the human brain to solve neuropsychiatric questions in clinical practice of psychiatry.
Dr. Emadi is experienced in treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders and works with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, nurses and social workers to provide the best care to her patients.
Dr. Emadi manages a variety of psychiatric disorders including but not limited to Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, ADHD, Psychosis, PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), Adjustment Disorder and Insomnia.
