Nadia Richmondwas Born and raised in Bogota-Colombia and she is a native Spanish speaker. Shecompleted her bachelor’s degree (Summa Cum Laude) in nutritional sciences fromMorgan state university. She graduated from the Towson University/CCBC Essex,Baltimore Collaborative Physician Assistant Program in 2017.
Prior tobecoming a Physician Assistant, she worked at Mt Washington Pediatric Hospitalwith pediatric nutrition as a nutrition assistant, as well as a LanguageLiaison coordinating all aspects of care for all non-English speaking patientsas well as translating and interpreting for Spanish speaking patients.
After graduatingfrom the physician assistant program, she worked at Expresscare urgent carecenters where she diagnosed and treated pts of all ages. She has also worked at St. Agnes hospital inthe OB/GYN surgery department.
Her specialinterests include peripartum and postpartum depression, ADHD, adolescenthealth, eating disorders preventative medicine, wellness, and nutrition. In herfree time, she enjoys yoga, gardening and spending time with her family.
