Nadia Richmond is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). She graduated from the Towson University/CCBC Essex, Baltimore Collaborative Master’s Physician Assistant Program in 2017. Nadia is a member of National Association of Physician Assistants in Psychiatry (APAP). She completed her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Morgan state University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the highest honors of her graduating class.
Nadia was born and raised in Bogota-Colombia and she is a native Spanish speaker. Nadia has a wide range of experience spanning from pediatric nutrition, the urgent care setting, and labor and delivery. While working with women as part of the obstetrics and gynecology team, Nadia developed an interest in peripartum and postpartum depression. Nadia has completed several certification programs in the field of perinatal mood disorders, perinatal psychopharmacology, and diagnostic and treatment considerations across the female lifespan.
Nadia has specialized training in peripartum and postpartum depression, adolescent health, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, transcranial magnetic stimulation, CBT, preventative medicine, wellness, and nutrition. Nadia is committed to providing each of her patients with the individualized and evidence-based care they deserve. Through building a partnership with her patients, and by providing education and support, Nadia guides patients along their own unique path to recovery and wellness.
