Christine Barmoy, CRNP-PMH is a board-certified nurse practitioner of psychiatry/mental health who received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Delaware. She has had clinical training in a variety of settings serving clients with substance use disorders, trauma, dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, and other psychiatric disorders. She is trained work with clients across the lifespan, from preschool to older adult. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse rotating between five different intensive care units in a large health system. During this time, she helped treat and advocate for clients with acute and chronic psychiatric conditions in the setting of an acute medical illness. Working with these clients inspired Christine to become a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.
Christine’s main areas of interest include the veteran population and their families and their unique set of needs, substance use disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, and many other acute and chronic psychiatric conditions.
