Ariel Paskin joined the Women's Mental Health Center at Psych Associates of Maryland shortly after its inception. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who works alongside Dr. Julie Brownley to provide exceptional psychiatric care to women across the lifespan, including diagnostic evaluation and medication management. Ariel received her RN and Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. She went on to receive her certificate in psychiatric mental health nursing from Johns Hopkins University.
Ariel practiced as a women's health nurse practitioner for 12 years, most recently at Johns Hopkins University. She did the bulk of her training at the Women's Mood Disorders Center at Johns Hopkins, and that, along with her years of experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, uniquely qualify her to treat women with mental health concerns.
Ariel specializes in the management of mental health issues associated with menstruation, pregnancy, and the postpartum period including: depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
