Adora Bosah is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where she obtained her post-masters degree in family psychiatric and mental health nursing. Currently, she works with children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.Prior to the above, Adora obtained her bachelors of science degree in nursing at Towson University, located in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, she pursued psychiatric nursing and have worked with individuals, families and populations with mental health needs for the past 9 years. This includes inpatient psychiatric units, state facilities, intensive partial hospitalization and substance abuse programs.Her dedication and love for psychiatric nursing led to her pursuing a board certification in staff psychiatric RN as well as an advanced degree in psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. It was also in this capacity that led to her obtaining a Masters of science in nursing informatics with specialization in behavioral health documentation. Adora has served as superuser for physician and nursing electronic health documentation at the George Washington University hospital inpatient psychiatry. Adora's ultimate goal is to continue to use the best available evidence based measures to fulfill the mental health needs of patients and families.
